Send 40 Border Children Back to School
CF Organized byCOC Foundation Verified Partner
Along the Thai–Myanmar border in Tak province, forty children from displaced families are at risk of missing the new school year. Their parents work seasonal farm jobs and cannot cover uniforms, shoes, books and the small tuition fees that Thai schools require.
COC Foundation has worked with these families for three years. Our teachers confirm each child's enrollment personally, and every baht is accounted for with receipts published on this page. 3,000 THB keeps one child in school for a full year — uniforms, materials, lunch support and transport included.
Budgets are reviewed during case verification. Receipts are published in Documents as funds are used.
Our teachers finished home visits for all 40 families this week. Every child's enrollment has been confirmed with their school for the semester starting in August. Uniform measurements are done — orders go to the tailor as soon as funding allows.
Receipts and reports will be published here for full transparency as the case progresses.
